Word from the President

Dear member:

Welcome to your Association’s revised website. By consulting it, I hope you will find useful tools to respond to your needs. Because this is what its all about: a new service to our members.

We have listened to suggestions and tried to respond to our transparency standards before enacting the changes. This new communication mode will give us more efficiency and will bring about new savings by replacing some of our postal and bulletin board means of communication. We will thus reach members more often and faster.

Renewal of the Collective agreement

The parties strike a deal

“A five year agreement, highlighted by financial guarantees and significant changes for working conditions, I think our members will be satisfied”. Those were the first comments by Mario Poudrier, the APS National President, commenting on the renewal of the collective agreement he had negotiated with Management. The Memorandum of understanding signed in the evening of August 29 concluded discussions that had been initiated in April between the parties.

Call for Candidacies

Five positions on the National Executive are up for election this year. Votes will be conducted as usual by individual mailing sent to each one of our members having acquired the right to vote. To do so, simply return us the application form, which you can find in the section "About APS".
